The Knoxville-Rothenburg Sketchbook #2: Stone Carrier

For the past year and a half part of the sketches have come out of rendering versions of figures I have been thinking about building, many of which are drawn from the stories of men that I know.

The “stone carrier” was inspired by a very moving piece of work that a man did on an experiential  retreat for men that  I was honored to lead.  I have yet to build this figure but he is in the works.  The second simply plays with the idea of flowers growing out of ones head like horns- wouldn’t that be interesting?
