Up and Running at Sip and Kranz

Notice some of the art behind David the curator of work at Sip and Kranz as well as in the back. It should look familiar.

Well, looks like the show is up and running at Sip and Kranz downtown in the Pearl here in Portland

The art opening is tonight from five to nine.  It’s a nice hip little coffee house in the heart of the condo district that also serves breakfast, lunch, and a nice glass of wine if you so choose.

I spent part of the day yesterday with their curator David setting up the show. If you venture there you’ll find  the new monoprint/collage/gouache works that I created with the Atelier Meridian in the fall (see blog post from September 5th 2009), the newer ink/watercolor/gouache pieces (see Sept 8, 13, 24th etc..) as well as a few of my watercolors; 23 pieces in all.  Hope you can make it!

The exhibition runs through May 3rd.  Sip and Kranz is located at 901 NW 10th Ave., Portland OR 97209.  their hours are Mon-Fri 7am-7pm, Sat & Sun 8am-8pm.

Hope you enjoy the show.

    Greetings Tim,
Just checked out your exhibit at S&K. Nice work. I especially like the way you illustrate your thoughts.
David Eastwood gave me your exhibit card. I am interested in knowing where you had it printed. I have an exhibit at S&K in June and am working on the details now. Any advice or comments you might have in setting up the exhibit would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

Hey Jerry- I’m a big fan of Modern Postcard, which is where I had them done. There prices are good and they can do all the layout of your information. Man- make sure you spell things right if you noticed I have the show listed as being in the “Peal District” -whoops.

Here is there site: http://www.modernpostcard.com They have a lot of information on there that can help you with layout etc.. It’s pretty easy. Thanks for your comments and I look forward to seeing your show in June!
